Tickling Your Fancy with
Purpose-Driven Design
I’m not claiming to be SuPerMan but I am SuPer charged.
I am a multi-disciplinary Art Director and Graphic Designer crafting intentional, human-centered brand identities and systems that drive social impact and celebrate community.
Across my career— from translating dense architectural and interior plans into approachable, cohesive touch points at P11, to weaving detailed visual systems at Sue Perry Creative—I have focused on turning diverse stories into accessible, emotionally resonant human experiences.
My background blends rigorous typographic structure and environmental branding with an intricate understanding of color theory and scalable vector systems.
Guided by the belief that design should serve as a source for positive change, I build authentic, values-aligned visual worlds that communicate belonging and uplift audiences.
When you hire me, you get:
A strategic thinker who wears their heart on their sleeve
Someone to challenge assumptions with diplomacy and empathy without sacrificing integrity and trust
Someone self-directed, disciplined, and with good instincts for exceptional judgment
Someone who can deliver solid work, consistently, and on time
But wait, there’s more!
You’ll also get these added perks —
Easygoing with a sense of humor that delights in the silly
I get a buzz from helping and uplifting others
Clear, transparent direction and active listening to ensure the entire team is aligned and empowered. Also prevents wasted time and resources
Able to compartmentalize priorities and pivot when needed to create an agile workflow
If what I’ve stated tickles your fancy, let’s create SuPer smart work together that moves the needle for good.

Process
Every project is as unique as you and me, but a disciplined approach provides opportunities to anticipate needs,
resolve conflicts, and find workable solutions. Let’s leave no stone unturned.
Research. Gain insight into client’s challenges, goals, and preferences. Research competitive environment and target market personas.
Define. Spell out the client vision and positioning as well as scope and project requirements. Define contract terms.
Iteration. Concept and versioning in collaboration with team. Review with internal stakeholders. Prepare presentation for client review.
Review. Present and gain feedback from the client regarding any design direction and changes. Number of review rounds are defined in contract.
Refine. Fine tune the chosen direction(s) with client feedback. This may return for client review or move foward for final approval.
Launch. Following final approval, all assets will be given a thorough review prior to finalizing. The project is launched with continued client support as contracted. Working files will be packaged and forwarded to the client or stored.
“ Every company looking for an Art Director that is not only accomplished, but extremely humble and willing to give everything to produce the best possible product for the client, should look no further than Susan. She was a pleasure to work with and would have an immediate impact wherever she goes.”
